Despite their epistemic certainty, they also seem fond of baiting progressives into debate -- though I interpret this more of a tactic to get progressives to waste time on a debate that will go nowhere, when that time could have been better spent advancing progressive causes. I think that where progressives struggle is that they feel the need to respond, because the statements often cause harem, but the response should take the form of talking to others *about* why the statements are harmful, rather than trying to talk directly to the Christo-fascist. (Did you happen to see Justin Buhr's delegation at the WRDSB? I thought he did a fantastic job of this.)
