Dinner Table Digest: Abortion Edition № 2
In this edition, I'll highlight some conservative and right-wing perspectives and responses to the repeal of Roe v. Wade in the United States.
For some time now, I have been wanting to put together a post that features conservative and right wing responses to the Roe v. Wade repeal at the Supreme Court of the United States, followed by another post that features left wing and pro-choice thoughts about the end of federal abortion rights in the United States. Despite the fact that much of my readership solidly leans left, I believe it is important for folks to, at the very least, be aware of what is being argued by one’s opponents. In this Abortion Edition № 2 of the Dinner Table Digest I share two op-eds from The American Conservative and First Things. Then I share two pieces, one from the New York Times and one from Christianity Today, along with a video from the Christian Broadcasting Network, on the next generation of extremist anti-abortion activists who believe that women who seek or obtain abortions should be charged and punished under the law for attempted murder or murder, respectively.
